Michael Torr Obituary

Michael Bradley Torr (Chopper) , died peacefully at his home on June 3, 2024 at the age of 67. He is survived by his wife of 31 yrs, Peggy E. Torr (Fields). He is the youngest son of Robert L. Torr and the late Evelyn M. Torr. Following a surgery in 2022 he has battled worsening breathing issues which made even simple tasks challenging, while draining the joy from his passions. Despite putting on a brave front, he was truly exhausted and simply wore out.

Michael lived life big, and had some amazing experiences in his lifetime. He had a "great life", and though this came quicker than he expected he wants us all to know that. He is survived by his father, Robert L. Torr, sister Barbara C. Torr, brothers Randolph L., R. Gregory Torr (Cynthia) along with many wonderful nieces and nephews. For those of you who knew Michael, whether family, friend, or one of his insured, you know what a truly wonderful person we have lost. We wish we had the time for, "just one more".

Family visitation at the Ruck Funeral Home Towson, 1050 York Road on Tuesday, June 11th from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm, and on Wednesday, June 12th 2 to 4 pm and 6-8 pm. A funeral mass will take place at St. Ursula Catholic Church on Thursday, June 13th, 11am. 8801 Harford Road, Parkville, MD 21234.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The Wounded Warrior Project or the Maryland Food Bank. More information will be found at the Ruck Funeral home web site.

I was so sad to hear of Michael´s passing. He was always so joyful and truly one of the good guys we meet through this life.
My prayers are with Mike´s family and even though we are sad now, we know he is breathing easily, visiting with Jesus and we will see him in eternity. GOD BLESS

Greg, 30 years ago your brother introduced himself to me as "Greg's brother" and what stuck with me was how fun and happy he was. So sorry for your loss.
