Michele was the youngest of our generation of cousins. So unfair that she is gone. Have great memories of visiting her during one of her stays in Ireland. We laughed a lot. She loved life and had much more to do.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay awhile, leaving footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.

With her easy going manner, Michelle was one of those rare people who gently enters your life and leaves a deep and lasting impression. When you were with her, you knew she was genuinely listening as her empathetic, reassuring presence seemed to fade away life's problems. Her gifted, healing hands eased ailments of all kinds. Now we carry her handprints on our hearts.

Michele, you touched our feet far greater than anyone has ever done and through that experience, you touched our hearts and lives. We have learned so much from you through the short period of time that we were blessed to have known you. You truly leave behind a legacy that will forever be remembered.

I am so sorry to hear of Michele's death. I was fortunate to be able to join my extended family on a trip to Ireland in 2007. She was our "leader" and was not only patient and kind, but really showed how much she loved Ireland. I'll always remember that trip fondly. She will be missed.

Michele, You always had a kind word for everyone. You always had a smile and a joke. You went through a terrible ordeal with grace and courage. You will be missed.
