Nancy Clyburn Obituary

Nancy Jane (Northamer) Clyburn, 84 yrs,

Jesus ushered her home to Him and reunited her with our Dad on June 6, 2024 which would have been their 65th Wedding Anniversary.

Born July 11, 1939 in Upper Darby, PA. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and of course a great friend to so many. She would always pass on her love of the Lord to them with her caring heart and beautiful smile.

Graduated as a Register Nurse, at Presbyterian-St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1960, in Chicago, Illinois. Moved to MD and spent many years employed with the American Red Cross. She enjoyed antiquing and the ocean. One of her greatest loves was being a bird enthusiast. She enjoyed sharing her love of nature with children in Bible camps, as a Girl Scout Leader and through Trail Guiding at Oregon Ridge. She is survived by her Children; Ellen and Bill Schneider, William and Krista Clyburn and Connie Coblentz. Also, her Grandchildren; Courtney and Jaret Duran, Keith, Jordan and Taylor Thomas, Rebecca, Michael, Kaitlyn, Austin, Devin, and Great-Grandchildren; Natalya, Trystan, Tavyn.

Ellen, Bill and Connie,
We are very sorry to discover that your mom passed away. Your mom called my mom, Jean Riggs, less than a year ago. Mom was thinking about your mom, and that's when we found this news. If any of you have time, mom would love to hear from you. You can look her up (she lives in Warminster PA) to reminisce about your mom.
Warm regards, Cynthia Riggs and Jean Riggs

When Larry and I moved to Spiritrust about 7 years ago,
Nancy was the most welcoming person we ever met. She was so friendly, charming and shared very interesting stories about her husband, their travels and her great family. As has been said, she expressed a great love of the Lord.
We found her to be an extraordinary lady. She will be missed.
Condolences to you all,
Larry and Jean

So sorry for your loss of such a wonderful and loving Mother. But just know that she is finally at peace and in a much better place now, in the arms of the Lord. Sending love, thoughts and prayers.

Living two houses away... and many fond memories of over 50 plus years with the whole family it gives me solace to know that her and Jim have been reunited... I know the grief all to well for those here on the earthly plane.

Know that she no longer feels any pain and we will feel it as a remembrance of her time with us..

As an older adult I would visit Nancy on a whim and we would have a great time catching up on each others lives and family news...

I will miss her dearly.... But know she is with our Savior and looking down on us...
