Norma Fedder Obituary

Norma Fedder neé Kolodner passed away peacefully at her home in Pikesville, Maryland, on November 28, 2025, surrounded by family. She was 97. Born in 1928 in Baltimore to Sarah and Julius Kolodner, she was married to Donald O. Fedder with whom she ran Fedder's Pharmacy in Dundalk. (They later divorced.) She also worked at Heirlooms Jewels and later Creative Specialties in Pikesville. For 45 years she volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Vibrant, dynamic, and charismatic, Norma was fiercely dedicated to her family. She was mother to Debra Goren neé Fedder (David Goren) and Dr. Ira Fedder (Jean Fedder), grandmother to Jeremy Goren, Eliot Goren (Molly Goren), Rebecca Fedder (Dan Tush), and Sarah Fedder. Great-grandmother to Jack Tush, Sloane Tush, Riley Goren, and Manny Goren. She is also survived by her siblings William Kolodner and Helen Caplan, as well as many adoring nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and many cousins.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Sunday, November 30th, 2025, at 10:00 am. Interment Bnai Israel Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland, 515 South Haven Street, Baltimore, MD 21224. Please see Sol Levinson's website for shiva information.
