I was so sorry to hear of Patsey's death. I only learned of it in October this same year. She was a wonderful person, great company and a source of smiles and jokes whenever we met. I owe her so much regarding my own badminton skills as Patsey was always willing to give me practice, not apparently worrying that the young pretender might just overtake her. As I did. Without her quality of badminton to continually aim for, my progress would have been far slower and I never forgot what kindness she showed me in that respect.
