Peter Simpson Obituary

SIMPSON , Peter K. On Thursday, October 26, 2006, at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, PETER K. SIMPSON, 67, of Princess Anne. Born in England on September 22, 1939, he was a son of the late Ernest Simpson and Doris Victoria Simpson. He had worked as a quality control manager for General Dynamics, a Robotics company. He was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church in Princess Anne and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Brown Simpson, of Princess Anne; three children, Tracey Cole and her husband J. D., of Virginia, Lisa Mitchell and her husband Robert of Ocean City and Scott Ringer and his wife Laura, of CT; grandchildren, Cailey Mitchell, Robert Nathan Mitchell, Rebecca Ringer and Jared Ringer; a great-grandson, Dylan Cole; a sister-in-law, Sheryl Brown; brother-in-law and his wife, Allen and Diane Brown; nieces and nephews, Marc and Jennifer Brown, Dawn Coan, Seth Telles, Nicole Telles and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. A son, Stephen Simpson also preceded him in death.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday at 11 A.M. at Antioch United Methodist Church in Princess Anne. Pastor Richard Walton will be officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne.

Marilyn, I am so sorry too hear about Pete. I only met him once at your home in Reisterstown but he seemed to have a wonderful sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
