Ray PATSCHKE Obituary
On May 10th, 2015, Ray H. Patschke, beloved husband of Carole Anne "Penny" (nee Brydon), devoted father of Beth Hughes and her husband Don, and David Patschke and his wife Sue, loving grandfather of Elyssia Singley and Indy and Brydon Patschke, passed away while with his family. His great delight has been as organist for the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Towson. He served the church in this capacity for 62 years. A Memorial Service will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Comforter at a later date. Holy Comforter is located at 5513 York Road, 21212. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Holy Comforter.

My family and the Patschkes go way back. Mr. Ray drove us all to piano lessons for years..to this day I cringe at classical music. He is a great man and will be missed greatly. Miss Penny, David and Beth you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers!!!

I am so very sorry for the loss of Ray - he was a great guy! It is such a blessing that on his last day on earth he was surrounded by his loving family and did not have to suffer long. Love and prayers to the entire family

Our paths have not crossed for a number of years, but the 20+ years we worked at The Savings Bank of Baltimore he was a co-worker, coach and friend. From the time I started as a Assistant Manager Trainee working at Merritt Park with him thru the years we worked at Baltimore and Charles I always appreciated and respected Ray. My sympathy to his family.

Mr. Ray always seemed to have a smile on his face and a laugh in his voice. He was one of the loving dads from a close knit group of my parents' friends and their kids (my friends) that made Holy Comforter a truly comforting community to grow up in.
