Rita Siegel Obituary

Rita Siegel, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away at the age of 96. Born on December 2, 1928, in Baltimore, she built a life rooted in family, loyalty, and unmistakable personal style. A devoted homemaker, Rita poured her energy into creating a warm and welcoming home, and she carried that same thoughtful eye into everything she touched. She loved Mah Jongg, relished a good shopping trip, and had an instinctive sense for design that brought joy to those around her.

Rita's defining traits, her independence and her strong will, guided her throughout her long life. These qualities shaped her resilience, her decisions, and the way she cared for the people she loved.

Rita was the beloved wife of the late Charles M. Siegel. She was the devoted mother of Alanna Nichols and her son-in-law Robert Nichols, and of Melinda Frisch, who preceded her in death and her son-in-law, Michael Frisch. She was the dear sister of the late Bernice and Harold Morgenstern.

She is survived by her cherished grandchildren: Seth Klass, Joshua and Victoria Klass, Joel Frisch and Dana La Rosa, and Hannah and Trevor Bloking. She also leaves behind her adored great-grandchildren: Liam Klass, Colin Klass, Madison Bloking, Cameron Bloking, and Charles Frisch. Rita was predeceased by her parents, William Sigler and Doris Sigler Walsky.

Her family finds comfort in remembering her strength, her unmistakable spirit, and the elegance she brought to a life well-lived.
