Robert W. BISER

On Tuesday, January 17, 2017, Robert Windsor Biser of Lutherville, MD, age 93. Robert served in the U.S. Army Air Corp, 586th Bomb Squadron, during W.W. II as Staff Sergeant. He was a tail gunner in a Martin B-26-B Marauder. He was a recipient of the Good Conduct Medal, Air Medal, American Theater Ribbon, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon and the World War II Victory Medal. He was a pilot and owned his own airplane, a Cessna Skylane 182. He was also an avid golfer who on a number of occasions shot his age. Robert was the founder of Summit Insulation which is a three generation family owned business. Robert was the beloved husband of the late Nancy Young Biser of 66 years; cherished father of Mary Lindsay Carlson (Don), Douglas W. Biser (Annie), Gail McLean (William), Andrew M. Biser (Nona), Lisa Meechan (Joe) and Paul R. Biser (Dotty); adored grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Rd., Timonium, MD 21093 on Sunday, January 22 from 3-5 and 6-8 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Cockeysville, MD on Monday, January 23 beginning at 11 AM.
