Peter, there are no words for this immeasurable tragedy. I send my most heartfelt sympathies to you and your family. I've heard you speak of your mother so many times over the years, I know she will be greatly missed. All my love-- heather weeks

I'm in shock. I heard the news as I was leaving to celebrate my 58th birthday. Bobbie was such a great friend to me during those most difficult teenage years. I was disappointed she wasn't at our 40th reunion. The last time I saw her was over 25 years ago. She was a very happy mother, sitting on her beautifully cared-for lawn with her young child, and seemed sure of herself and at peace with her life. My condolences to her family.

Barbara-We'll always miss you.
Only yesterday I wore the Briard ski top you got me some months ago.
You were a dear friend,wife,mother,daughter
and sister.

Oh, Bobbie -- migawd, what a shock to read in the Times this morning that you have died! I've been waiting since the high school reunion to hear from you; Harriett was going to give you my number. I will always remember your vivacity and good humor. My deepest sympathies to your family in this time of great loss.
Your high school friend,
Sherry Gershon Gottlieb
