Franklin , beloved husband of Phyllis Franklin (nee Oletsky); cherished father of Lauren (Stan) Wilson, Leah Franklin, Gia Franklin, and Scotlyn Franklin; devoted brother of Corinne (late Charles) Vineberg; loving grandfather of Jaden, Justin, Quinn and Brair.
Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC., 8900 Reisterstown Road, at Mount Wilson Lane on Sunday, September 22, at 1 pm. Interment Anshe Emunah Aitz Chaim Cemetery - 3901 Washington Blvd. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to The Berman Cancer Institute at GBMC, Infusion Therapy Nurses, Attn: Dawn Stefanik, Suite 204, 6569 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21204. Phyllis, you didn't know me but I know all I ever need to know about you from how Stan spoke of you and his love of you. I just found out about his passing, something I always worried about came to pass. My friendship with Stan wasn't one that would put me on the 'call' list when something happened to him. I just knew that I'd send an email saying "hey" and not get a response. My heart is heavy, I will miss him so much. He was my savior more times than I care to admit, always there for me, always in my corner. My husband and I loved him very much. He was a giant among men in our eyes.

Phyliss, I called the law office today asking for Stan and just learned he passed away. I am so sorry. I had so much love and respect for him. Blessings to you and your family.

Phyllis - No one took better care of Stan than you. Just mentioning your name would put a smile on his face. We so loved and admired him too. He always had a funny story to tell or a good joke. We will miss him terribly. Love to you and your family. All the Murphy girls. xoxo

I was so very sorry to learn the passing of my cousin Stan, who helped me over the years in numerous ways. He was a truly great guy, and I know he will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved him.
