On January 9, 2022, Stephany Erin Seargeant, 45, wife of John W. Seargeant; mother of Keira Seargeant and the late Geoffrey Seargeant; daughter of William Wright Pond and Peggy Born Pond; sister of Averil Holcomb (Daniel); daughter-in-law of Loretta Seargeant and the late Ronald Seargeant; sister-in-law of Steven (Kisha), Robert (Heather), and Floyd Seargeant.

The family will welcome friends on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 2 to 6pm at Westminster United Methodist Church, 165 E. Main St., Westminster. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 17th at 10 am with visitation at 9am at the church, with her pastor Rev. Dr. Malcolm Stranathan officiating. All guests in attendance must wear a face mask. For those unable to attend Stephany's service it will be livestreamed on the church website

Inurnment will be Monday following the service in St. John Leister's Church Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Stephany's name to Westminster United Methodist Church – "Missions Committee". 165 E. Main St., Westminster MD 21157.

Bill and Peg: I never had the honor of meeting your daughters. However, please accept my sincerest condolences. May Stephany's soul be eternal and may she find peace. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I'm so sorry for the loss of such a great person of the community and for her family. Steph was a friend from high school that I would run into from time to time . We would always promise to intentionally get together one day. It's sad that time passed and that didn't happen. I'll see you one day in heaven Steph. I'm so thankful you know Jesus.

I went to high school with Stephany. I remember her as always very kind and friendly. After high school our paths didn´t cross but I can see that she had a full life, filled with those that loved and cared for her deeply. John, Keira, Bill, Peg, and Paij, With deepest sympathy we are so sad for your loss. There are no words to ease the pain and sorrow. The world has lost a beautiful soul, but heaven gained an angel to watch over all of us. Steph Erin's spirit, love, caring, and kindness will remain in our hearts forever.
