Steve Dance

On May 25, 2021, Hiram Stephens Dance (Steve) passed away suddenly at age 78; he was beloved husband of Nancy Dance (nee Crist); devoted father of Whitney Blake Dudley and her husband Brad, Erica Stephens Dance, Lee Hopkins Dance, loving stepfather of Layne Hockaday and her husband Evrard Neil; dear brother of Shearman Scott Dance, Jr. and his wife Lee, Thomas Milton Dance and his wife Karola, and Anderson Weller Dance and his wife Sandy; cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Steve was predeceased in life by his father Shearman Scott Dance, his mother Helen Brown Dance, and his sister Martha Helen Dance. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
