Thomas Boram Obituary

Thomas Andrew Boram, Jr., 80, was born in Baltimore, MD to Thomas Andrew Boram, Sr. And Dorothy May Wiser Boram. He received bachelors and masters in music from Peabody Institute as well as masters' in Psychology and Administration from Johns Hopkins and Loyola. He had a long career as a music teacher at Dundalk Middle School. Upon retiring, the music wing at the school was renamed the "Thomas A Boram, Jr." wing. When Tom was raising his family, he sang in a top forties band. In his retirement he returned to playing the French horn as first chair in the Bel Air Community Band.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Andrew Boram, Sr. And his mother Dorothy May Wiser Boram. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Rose Palaia Boram, brother, Robert John Boram and wife, Barbara Shultz Boram. Tom's children also survive him, Thomas Andrew Boram, III and wife Jackie Maria Milad, daughter, Jessica Elaine Boram Charkow and husband, Jason Scott Charkow, as well as grandchildren, Rainer Sofia Charkow, Piero Dev Boram, and Roark Emerson Charkow.

A ceremony will be held on July 18, 2024 at the columbarium at St Johns Cemetary (situated behind the library) 50 E. Main St. Westminster, MD 21157 at 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Portico Hall at St Johns Catholic Church campus at 43 Monroe St. Westminster, MD.
