Thomas James

Thomas (Tom) Michael James, 66, of Fulton, MD, died on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at home, surrounded by loved ones. Born March 3, 1959, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Charles and Lillian James. He was the beloved husband of 44 years to Katherine (Kathy) James, nee Schroeder. He was the devoted father of Steven James and the late Katherine (Katie) James. He is survived by his sister Mary Ellen Marine, brother Charles L. James, Jr. and his wife Jan, mother-in-law Gloria Schroeder, brother-in law Michael Schroeder and his wife Delilah, and sister-in-law Diana Miles. He was the loving uncle of Andrew James and his wife Jen, Jennifer James, Maxwell Schroeder, Erica Schroeder, Nicole Schroeder, Joseph Schroeder, and Rebecca Miles. He was the great uncle of Laura James and Harriet James. He was predeceased by his parents, daughter, father-in-law Edward Schroeder, brothers-in-law Ray Marine and Lawrence Miles.

A Celebration of Life will be held November 22, 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Matthews 1600, 1600 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228. Remembrances will begin at noon.
