Velma Simonetti Obituary
On November 24, 2015 Velma J. (nee O'Neill) Russ Simonetti beloved wife of Robert J. Simonetti and the late H. Philip Russ. She was the daughter of the late James and Regina Granlund O'Neill; loving mother of Philip Thomas Russ (Angie), James Russ, Kathleen Russ Hergenroeder (James), Peter J. Simonetti (Virginia), Dr. Regina Marie Simonetti (Daniel Sullivan) and Claudia Marie Shannon (Kevin); 11 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Regina Eleanor Higdon and brothers John Thomas O'Neill and Peter James O'Neill and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a sister Shirley O'Neill. Visitation Monday, November 30, 2015 at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd., (beltway exit 26) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at St. Joseph's Church, Texas at 10 AM. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Mission Helpers of the Sacred Heart 1001 W. Joppa Rd., Baltimore, MD 21204.

My condolences to Velma's family. Saw her last year at a mini school reunion, and other St. Dominic's reunions throughout the years. She will be missed by all.
