Funeral services will take place Monday, July 2, 2012, 11 AM at Wards Chapel UMC, 11023 Liberty Rd., Randallstown, MD 21133. Interment to follow at Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 30, 2012, 4 to 6 PM and Sunday July 1, 2012, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Masonic memorial service during evening viewing hours at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd., Winfield, MD 21784. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wards Chapel UMC, or Liberty Rd. Volunteer Fire Company, INC., 10010 Liberty Rd., Randallstown, MD 21133. Online condolences at

Family, I'm saddend for your loss. Mr. Walter was a dear man who cared for his family and community very much. I'm honored to have met him as a young man @ the fire company many years ago. I only wish I was near to be with you in this time of sorrow. We have all lost a dear friend.

Yvonne and Family, We are so sorry to hear of Walter's passing.He was a kind, gentle and caring man. We'll always remember our days at the firehouse and all of the fun we shared while working at our carnivals. Yvonne and family, We are away on vacation and learned of Walter's passing. So very sorry hear. Walter was a good friend to me and my family. We are going to be on vacation and will miss all viewings and funeral. Please know our thoughts are with you doing this time.
