Dear Bill's Family,
I was incredibly saddened to learn of Bill's passing. Bill has been my dentist for 18 years, and my daughter's only dentist for ten years. He always greeted us with a smile and a laugh--always making us feel comfortable. His dentistry was absolute perfection.
Bill and I shared many funny stories about children, pets, family, etc., throughout the years. He truly loved his wife and childern and was incredibly proud of them. His zest for life was contagious, and I will always be grateful that I had the opportunity to know him.
I will truly miss him, and continue to keep all of you in my heart, thoughts and prayers.

Dear Carl and Carol ....
Ever since Dad died, I've felt kinda "out of the loop" with our oldest family friends, and I am sorry for that. A friend recently shared the paper about Betty Lee's Dad and when I opened the page, I was heartsick to see the notice about Bill...
Childhood Christmas Eve's always included a special Ebeling visit! The memories and stories of our families intertwining for over 60 years are some of my most favorite.
I can only celebrate the glorious reunion going on with Bill and Celeste, Jeff, my Mom and Dad ... and all our other "Angels."
Warmly,
Susan

I remember Bill well from our days at Roanoke College. He was an All America defenseman on a very good team in 1974. I express the thoughts of all of the team mates who knew Bill that we will miss him deeply. He will be remembered as a truly unique person possessing many skills and a heart big enough to embrace everyone. Best poke check ever. Peace to you and your loved ones.

I first started seeing Dr.Ebeling when I was in High School. He saw me all throughout college, my first job out of college, my wedding and the birth of my son. He always made me feel extremely comfortable so one can only imagine how deeply saddened I was to hear the news of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Dr. Ebeling was an exceptional dentist; I looked forward to my visits with him twice a year. He had a wonderful personality, and truly cared about the 'welfare' of my teeth. I feel very fortunate to have found him, and look back with only fond memories of what some may consider just a routine, ordinary doctor visit. To me, he stood out from all the rest because he took the time to instruct and explain, and gave undivided attention during the appointment ~ as if all else stood waiting outside the door until he was done. Most endearing were his smile and warmness, and chats about his next travel adventures. I miss him as I write this.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time. May you find strength in knowing how many lives he touched.

We were so upset to hear of something so tragic happening to such a wonderful family. My older sister, Corryne, and I used to babysit for Kasey and Carl when we lived on Lake Ave. It breaks our hearts to know that you have to go through this. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

When a man has just returned from a family trip to Disneyworld and it is 11:30 at night and he agrees to come to his office at midnight to help a patient he has never met, you know he is much more than a "Great Dentist". That is how I became a patient of Bill's over 18 years ago, and through the years that have passed I learned what a great person he was as well. I will miss him greatly, but remain proud to have known him. My deepest sympathy and condolences are sent to his wife and children, his family and the girls in his office.

To Bill's Family:
I was a patient of Bill's for many years. I am sure that most people don't look forward to going to the dentist, but I always did. My whole family went to him also and the feeling was unanimous.
Bill was obviously a people person...always upbeat, friendly and humorous. Even without those qualities he would have been a great dentist, because I always found him to be hardworking, honest and competent.
My family feels that you should always remain proud of the fact that Bill was your husband, dad, brother, sister or son.

Our deepest condolences to the entire Ebeling family at this very difficult time. We too are long-time patients who enjoyed our visits to the dentist. No matter what, Bill was always friendly & cheerful - always taking time to talk about our work, family (both his and ours), or just about anything else.
When our kids were getting old enough for their 1st visit, Bill suggested that they sit in on our visit to see what it was like. He's the kind of man who didn't hesitate to give you his home phone number in case there was a problem over the weekend! I have to laugh now thinking about the time I mentioned the All-American plaque in his office. He played it off like it was nothing..."that was back when it didn't take a lot to be good" - that's how he was, so humble! I'll never forget him driving on Osler with that red Alpha Romeo!
To Bill's family, staff & friends, our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was shocked to hear of Bill's passing, and my condolences go out to his family. A lot of people probably don't like going to the dentist, but a visit to Bill's office was always a pleasure. I'm glad I got to see him two weeks ago, and I'm very sorry I won't see him again. He was always such a pleasant, good-natured guy who seemed to brighten the day of anyone with whom he would come into contact. I noticed that several other people who signed the guest book seem to have the same feelings for him. I also feel as if he was not just my dentist but also a friend. People like Bill are a rare find, and I'm sure that many people will miss him.

Our family has been visiting Dr Ebeling for over twenty years. We met him in Dundalk and followed him to Towson. Bill would allow the five of us consecutive appointment slots, which would run a couple of hours. He was so relaxed and friendly, it was like visiting a friend. The youngest child would start climbing in Bill's chair at age two, because the atmosphere was so warm and wonderful.
We feel a terrible shock and sadness from Dr Ebeling's passing. We pray that somehow God will help his family and loved ones through this difficult time.
