Bill has been a great friend and business associate for over 28 years. We would have many conversations about his decoy collection and the turtles he would have in his back yard until they were devastated by vandals. Anyone who knew him lost a great friend.

Bill will be sorely missed. I was his barber for 29 years and it was my pleasure to have known him. He was a compassionate and mild mannered man who always had a kind word. Bill was close to his nephews and I would like to express my deepest sympathy to them and the rest of his family. His memory I will cherish always.

Bill was a wonderful person. I so enjoyed the many lunches we shared together over the years. Bill never "sugarcoated" his feelings and was very well versed in many different topics. I enjoyed the stories he will tell me about his decoy collection and his decoy trips to the Easton Wildlife Show every year. I always wanted to know if he found that one "special" piece that he so longed to obtain at the show. I was foutunate to have a business relationship that developed a very personal side to it.

My heart is heavy with the news of Bill's passing. We have had a working relationship for the past 12 years and much more than that we became such close friends. There was nothing we could not talk about. We would talk about his nephews for which he always spoke highly of. We would talk about his passion for collecting duck decoys, oyster plates and Coke Cola tray's etc. Somewhere in there we would also take care of the day to day business transactions. It was ironic that my father Ray Aschenbach worked with Bill for many years at Nurad and that I would then have a chance to get to know such a special man while he worked at Tcom and I at R&M Mfg.. I have missed him since he retired from Tcom and will always have a special place in my heart for this great man. To his family my deepest condolences and sympathy.
