Barbara Grasseschi Obituary
Battle Creek - Barbara H. Grasseschi (Tenney), 75, of Battle Creek MI and more recently of Estero Florida passed away peacefully on December 18, 2020 from complications of pneumonia.
Barb was born in Battle Creek, MI on August 28, 1945 a daughter of the late Jack and Winifred Tenney. She graduated from Lakeview High School and attended Western Michigan University.
Barb worked as a secretary for Kellogg Company until her marriage then joined her husband in Germany who was in the U.S. Army. While there they enjoyed traveling extensively throughout Europe until he was deployed to Viet Nam.
Barb was actively involved with the Junior League of Battle Creek and a member of Battle Creek Country Club. She was an avid reader of both novels and cook books. She enjoyed cooking for her family and traveling.
Barb was married to Daniel J. Grasseschi on May 17, 1969 the love of her life for 50 years.
She is survived by her husband, sons Brian and Jeffrey, grandchildren Carlie and Connor children of Brian, nieces and nephews Cathy Tenney, John Tenney, and Michael Tenney.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Winifred, brothers Edmund and John Tenney.
Cremation has taken place and no service is planed. A memorial to Barb will be held at a later date.

I remember Barbara coming into Zande Pharmacy to visit Dan before they were married. A beautiful person inside and out.

Barbara was a gentle soul who always was so polite. I knew her son Jeff, and husband Dan more working for him , and my heart goes out to them and Brian for their loss. May the love of God surround you with comfort during this difficult time.
