Bruno Bragagnini Obituary

Bruno Bragagnini Kalamazoo Bruno Bragagnini, age 86, died December 19, 2008 at his home in Kalamazoo. He was born January 4, 1922 in Porpetto, Italy, the son of Idilio and Fede (Filiputti) Bragagnini. Learn more about Bruno, view his Life Story film, and share in some refreshments with his family and friends on Sunday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Life Story Funeral Home, Betzler-Kalamazoo; (800) 822-7594 where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church where an additional viewing will start at 10:00 a.m. in the church. Following the Mass, food and fellowship will be shared in the church hall. Burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Bruno was an Army veteran of WWII and was a P.O.W. He was principle partner at Central Tile for over 55 years. Bruno was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Bragagnini; two brothers: Apollo "Paul" Bragagnini and Otterino Bragagnini; and by his son-in-law, John Stora. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Barbara Bragagnini; three children: Teresa (Donald) Tonelli of Portage, Betty Stora of Kalamazoo and Richard (Janice) Bragagnini of Schoolcraft; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five stepchildren: Dan (Daniel) Longman of Grand Rapids, Jamie Longman of Stuart, FL, Nanette Hensen of Wyoming, Timothy (Benita) Longman of Mobile, AL and Colleen Baker of Palm City, FL; four stepgrandchildren; and many additional families members.
