Larry Sipe Obituary
Kalamazoo
Passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the age of 74. Larry was born March 4, 1943 in Marshall, MI to the late Lester and Carrie (Samson) Sipe. He was united in marriage to Barbara Marry on March 26, 1966. Larry served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 until honorably discharged in 1968. He was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Larry enjoyed reading, genealogy, photography, target shooting and spending time with his family. Larry also thoroughly enjoyed his own unique sense of humor. Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara Sipe; children, Kimberly (David) McFarland and their daughter, Fallon; Steven (Irene) Sipe and their children, Oscar and Francesca; Kristen (Seth) Hause and their children, Moira, Alice and Clinton; sister, Catherine (Alan) Claypool; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, May 30th, 11:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 504 S Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo. Rev. Kenneth Johnson will officiate. A luncheon will follow the service. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Memorials in Larry's name may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, Kalamazoo County Humane Society or to the American Kidney Foundation.
