I remember Mike as bigger than life... always lit up the room making his entrance. Mike was a frequent visitor to Jim Hazel's 76 in his red, white and blue Corvette. He had a way of making you feel part of his inner circle of friends. Great story teller! I'll miss him. I had not seen him since 78 but always figured there was time to get back to the Creek....Godspeed Michael!!!

Sorry to here about Michael passing. He let me use his AAA card when I got my van stuck in the mud late at night. I didn't have anybody to call and he help me out when I really needed it. He was a good guy.

I wish to express my sincere condolences to the entire Slavoff family in their time of sorrow.
I first met Mike and his wonderful family when they moved into the house on Grenville Street. Although younger than I, Mike and I became good friends, spending many days doing what little boys do. Riding bikes, climbing trees, playing ball and involving ourselves in whatever adventure we could dream up. He had a wonderful sense of humor, a pleasant and caring attitude, and was for sure a happy kid.
After we had grown to manhood I lost track of Mike, but we met a couple of years ago at a local restaurant, and were able to catch up somewhat. Although I hadn't seen Mike for many decades, I was able to recognize him immediately as he was picking out a dessert at the buffet.
Of all my childhood friends, I think Mike was the kindest and most friendly of all. I will miss him.
