Patricia Peacock Obituary

Patricia J. "Pat" Peacock Marshall Patricia J. "Pat" Peacock, age 76, passed away unexpectedly, June 9, 2009 at her home in Marshall. She was born January 10, 1933, the daughter of Matthew and Lillian (Jaroseak) Perhatch in Cleveland, OH. The family moved to Monroe, MI where she graduated from Monroe High School in 1951. Pat was the proud owner and operator of "Peacock's Plantasia" floral design of Marshall, retiring in September 2007. She is survived by her four children, Ellen J. Thimmig of CA, James H. Peacock Jr. of Vancouver WA, Niccole N. Metzger of Marshall, Josh N. Peacock of Grand Rapids; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Matthew Perhatch of Everett WA and Mark Perhatch of Monroe. Pat was a talented florist who also enjoyed knitting and classical music. At the request of the family, friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, at Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the Oakridge Cemetery, Marshall, Pastor Les Seal officiating. Personal remembrances may be made at www.farleyestesdowdle.com

Ellen, we are so sorry for the loss of your Mother. Not only was she your Mother, but one of the few people that we really missed in Marshall and always went to see. We always found you thru her. She was a dear friend to many and one that will be missed greatly.

I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. (I dont get a paper so didnt find out until today (sunday). She was a very talented woman. I didnt know her well but my mom just loved her so much. I will keep you all in my prayers as you go through this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your families loss. She will be greatly missed. Pat was a wonderful person with the kindest heart. I know I have many fond memories of her along with many stories to remember.
