We shared skydiving, and we shared Life, and thank you, Steven, for being a part of our lives for both. Some people make our lives better just by being in them, and Steven was such a person. To Steven's family, we extend our heartfelt sympathy.
Sincerely, Stan Lathrop & Lynn Humphreys.

Steven, Mom and Dad called me today. I knew. somehow. You've all been on my mind for the past month. I wasn't sure why, but I had a feeling. I'm still in disbelief. Both Zack & I NEVER stopped loving you. You were the "oldest kid" I ever knew. Drawing flowers on my mirror w/soap. jumping over fireworks, and being so amazing with my son. You were there for him when his "dad" NEVER" was. You were family to us then and still are today. We LOVE you with our hearts and souls. And miss you more than you know.

Such a great soul. The class of 1983 Western High School will miss you Steve. Our hearts and prayers got out to the Ludlow family and friends during this difficult time. Steve made a difference and impacted many lives with his knowledge, humor, and great adventures, not to mention his caring personality. We won't forget you Steve.

It is because of Steven that I can speak Chinese. Steven came to our cub scout troop to talk about his experiences with the green barets. I remembered how he told us of extreme immersion learning. 15 or so years later when I was living in China and struggling to learn the language, I remembered what Steven told us. I put it to work and within six months could carry on a conversation.
Sorry to hear of his passing, he had a big impact on my life.
