I'm now learning of this to a heavy heart Wayne was my grandfather neighbor in Coldwater so I spent every summer from the early 1980s up till the mid 90s around Wayne he played a little bit of a father role to me. Me and Scott were best friend and spent most minutes together Wayne was also a great friend to my grandfather with there morning run for a cup of mud as they called it to there mutual assistance in many home remodeling projects I have literally 100s of memory of him he was a great man I'm truly grateful for everything he ever did for me as I write this his voice come in my head thx Wayne for everything may God bless you for eternity

Wayne I´ll never forget our last chat on the phone. I look back on the conversation and can´t help but think you knew things weren´t good but you never let on! I´ll always cherish our friendship and hope we cross paths in heaven. You certainly added a bright spot in my life rest in peace my friend!

I met Waine in the army in Fort sill Oklahoma back in the summer of 1977. When I first met Waine he chose me to go with him on tank trails to test drive jeeps for the motor pool. I remember sitting on the battery box catching my coveralls on fire and just watching Waine laugh at me. Had a good time all that day. Got in trouble when we got back to the motor pool but it was worth it. I’m happy to say the last day I spent with Waine. And just like the first day I met him laughing and having fun. He will be missed by me one of his best friends Willy!

A year has passed since God took you. He saw you needed rest. Death leaves such a heartache. To me you were so special. I thought the world of you. You were my strength, never will I forget you. You remain forever in my heart. I miss you!

Wayne was always willing to help, and could solve any issue. He loved our Little Nicholas, (His grandson) more than anything in this life. So many fun memories. He was an awesome father in law, father , and grandfather. We all miss him so dearly already.

His family were our neighbors when we lived in Ray. Every year we returned to Ray I always looked forward to Wayne and Dan s visiting me talking and laughing on our front porch. We had lost touch and I always wondered what happened to him . So sorry to hear this about Wayne and my thought and prayers go out to April and Nancy.

I am fondly remembering snow fort fights behind the house at clear lake. Spending the summer babysitting at the lake. Recently hugging you and crying on your shoulder at my moms funeral a few short months ago. I will miss that wonderful smile and great laugh, I will be forever your susieq.
