Betty Ruth Beck

1948 - 2025

Betty Ruth (Gilliland) Beck, 77, of Gassville, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, at her home in Gassville.

She was born on Aug. 2, 1948, to the late Clifford and Beatrice (Parnell) Gilliland. Betty married Ted Beck on July 19, 1982.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Betty was happiest when she was taking care of her family and showing them how much she loved each and every one of them. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Betty was a woman of faith and loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart. She was a member of Rea Valley Baptist Church.

Betty is survived by her husband, Ted Beck; three sons, Michael Lee Ellis, Clifford Anthony "Tony" Beck and Zachary Neal Beck; two granddaughters, Mckenna Rose Beck and Riley Nacole Beck; one brother, Jack (Sara) Gilliland; one niece, Katie Bader; one nephew, Bradley Gilliland, many other nieces and nephews; and several loving family members and close friends.

Graveside funeral services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Cotter, Arkansas, with Jack Gilliland and Bud Gilliland officiating. Burial will immediately follow.
