Carol Rhodes Obituary
She was born April 9, 1938, in Carthage, South Dakota, to Tom and Ethel (Hardin) Pederson. Carol loved spending time with her daughters and granddaughters, keeping busy and working in her yard and going to casinos.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ronald Rhodes; two sisters, Sonja Pederson and Vivian Amen; a brother, Joe Pederson and a daughter, Diane Michalec.
Carol is survived by a daughter, Valerie Harris of Mountain Home; one granddaughter, Kara (Matthew) Pieper of Shorewood, Illinois; a brother, Ronald (Irene) Pederson of Aurora, Illinois; one sister, Delores (Dave) Ames of Miller, South Dakota; a son-in-law, Robert Michalec of Romeoville, Illinois; two great-grandchildren, Gianna and Emma Pieper; two stepdaughters, Teresa Horsley and Trudy Rhodes and a stepson, Kerry Rhodes.
A visitation will be held from noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, with a service to follow at 2 p.m., at the Conner Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
