Gassville - Cody Alan Thomas, 26, of Gassville, AR, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 near Harrison, AR.

He was born January 9, 1992, in Mountain Home, AR, the son of Steve and Sheila (Hampton) Thomas. He grew up in Wasola and graduated from Gainesville High School in 2010. He married Margaret (Maggie) Elizabeth Robert on February 11, 2012. The couple settled in Gassville, AR. He worked for Bankers Life as a sales representative. In the words of his wife, He was a man who loved his family with every fiber of his being. He loved God and was always wanting to better himself. I am so thankful his parents raised such an amazing man. All who knew Cody loved him and their lives were better for knowing him. He will be missed.

He is survived by his spouse Maggie Thomas of Gassville, AR; two children: Amelia Thomas and Judah Thomas of Gassville; grandparents: EJ and Faye (Cook) Hampton of Wasola; parents: Steve and Shelia Thomas of Wasola; one brother: Bradley Thomas and wife Haley of Roxboro, NC; one sister: Audrey (Thomas) Sisco and husband Tylor Sisco of Wasola; and in laws David and Jo Lynn Robert of Salesville, AR; and a host of extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alvis and Dolly (Turner) Thomas.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Gainesville Church of Christ in Gainesville, MO with his grandfather, E.J. Hampton officiating. Visitation will be Friday morning from 10 a.m. to service time at the church. Burial will be in the Souder Cemetery, Souder, MO.

The Cody Thomas Memorial Fund has been set up at Century Bank of the Ozarks, PO Box 68, Gainesville, MO or can be left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
