Jimmy Boswell Obituary
He was born March 25, 1936, in Elvins, Missouri, the son of Homer and Alberta Smith Boswell. Jimmy served in the National Guard. He married Joy on July 23, 1982, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Jimmy was a truck driver for E.T.M.F. and ABF Trucking. He retired to Mountain Home in 1999, after driving a truck for nearly 40 years. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed watching auto racing with his son, taking vacations to different states, fishing, golfing and eating Mexican food. He loved the ocean.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Joy Boswell of Mountain Home, Arkansas; son Mark (Brenda) Boswell of Doniphan, Missouri; two daughters, Kristine (Brian) Stitch of Branson, Missouri, and Pamela (Michael) Reed of Naylor, Missouri; step-son, Jimmy Sykes of Jesseville, Arkansas; step-daughter, Johnna Ford of Benton, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren, Jodie, Shannon, Amanda, Bill, Joy, Jennifer, Michael, Hope, Trace and Jayla; seven great-grandchildren, Avery, Anna, Jackson, Gage, Adrian, Micah and Zechariah; and two great-great-grandchildren, Ryanne and Denver.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Bob Seal, Bill Boswell and Richard Boswell.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A funeral service for Jimmy will be 1 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of North Arkansas.

Grandpa Jim, You were always fun to talk to and I remember going to the big M with you and Granny Joy. You will be missed by many and that proves how much of an impact you have made on others. I remember how excited I was to visit with my mom and sister. Having memories of you helps prove that you existed in my life and the lives of everyone that cared for you. I hope that everyone keeps you in their hearts as time progresses. Goodbye for now Grandpa Jim.
