Mary McCasland

Mountain Home - Mrs. Mary V. McCasland, age 84 of Mountain Home, Arkansas, formerly of Lafayette Colorado, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018. She was born June 18, 1934 in Yuma, Colorado to Vern and Grace (Deering) Trunde.

Mary enjoyed being an incredible artist who taught art at Colorado University, Boulder, and Arkansas State University, Mountain Home, as well as numerous art clubs. Mary had a passion helping for all animals large and small. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

Mary is survived by her husband of 65 years, Marvin McCasland of Mountain Home AR, two sons, Barton McCasland of Virginia Beach, VA, Morgan McCasland of Virden, Il, 11 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, and Grady, their cat.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
