Cheryl A. (Hutchinson) Roberts, 69, passed away on September 28, 2015 in Colorado. Cheryl was a resident of Friendswood for over 20 years. She was born on February 28, 1946, in Houston, Texas to Marvin and Garnet Hutchinson. Cheryl married Jack Roberts in 1965, and together they moved to Friendswood in 1973. Cheryl was an active member of the Friendswood Church of Christ and a volunteer in her children's schools. She spent the last 19 years of her life living in the Denver area.
Cheryl was an active, vivacious, and loving woman with a huge heart. She was a friend to all, and loved being a grandmother to her three grandkids more than anything. She taught her children an important lesson: "Don't hesitate to say, write or show the word 'love' to anyone you meet."
She is survived by her former husband Jack; son Jack Roberts and wife Jennifer of St. Paul, MN; daughter Cindi Roberts Culkin and partner Tim Lowell of Castle Rock, CO; brothers Gene Hutchinson of San Diego, David Hutchinson and wife Jan of Houston, Gary Hutchinson and wife Nancy of Friendswood, and Doug Hutchinson; grandchildren Conner Culkin, Caprice Culkin, and Jessica Roberts; and many loving relatives and cherished friends.
The family will hold a private memorial service to celebrate Cheryl's life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare (St. Paul, MN) in her honor.

We have many happy memories of Cheryl from the years we spent enjoying our young children in the baseball leagues. God bless the family as they go through this difficult time. R

Yes, Cheryl will be missed by many, but will be remembered through Jack Perry and Cindi, and her grandchildren. My prayers go out to all of you.
