Betty Cole, a 50 year resident of Friendswood, TX, died suddenly on February 4, 2015. Betty was born to Alfred C. Miller, Sr. and Agnes E. Malone Miller in Denver, CO. on April 22, 1939. In September, 1954, Betty and Harry Cole were married, in Denver, Colorado. Harry Cole was stationed there with the Air Force and Betty never wanted him to leave without her.
Betty is survived by three of her five children: Mardi Cole Parmenter and husband Mark, son David Cole his wife Doris, and son John Cole. Surviving grandchildren are: Valerie Parmenter House, David Parmenter, Cole Parmenter, Philip, Matthew, Andrew and Sharon Cole as well as her loving grandson-from marriage Manuel and his wife, Briana Fitzgerald Perea. Betty was so proud of great-grandsons', Connor House and Asher Perea. Other surviving relatives include sister, Genevieve Miller Frith, and brothers, Tommy, wife Linda Miller, Alfred Miller, Jr., and his wife Andrea. Betty is also survived by Sister-in-law Ila Cole, brother-in-law Henry, his wife Betty Cole, and Barbara "Pink" Hydanus as well as many wonderful nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Betty was a long time Friendswood Colts and Mustang Football Mom. So many boys were able to come over to our house for food, fun, and TV time. She was a fantastic cook who could make a meal with what some would consider limited ingredients seem like a feast. When Daddy was President of the first Colts organization Momma helped keep the paperwork in order and made sure every football player had all their equipment! Football was what the Cole boys were about and she kept the system rolling during the seasons, during the off-season, and all summer long!
Betty was preceded in death by her parent's, husband of 47 years, Harry Cole, and her sons, Harry II and Danny Cole.

So many great memories of your mom. Her genuine laugh and great smile. Big smile. Ear to ear. But, no kidding, I can still smell that thick bacon she used to fry for all your hungry brothers. I was jealous every time. She loved y'all very much and it showed.
