Gina Runnels Obituary
Gina Lynn (Mckenna) Runnels, 79, of Friendswood, Texas passed away at home on January 2, 2012 in Friendswood, Texas. She was born in Ennis, Texas on November 8, 1932. Gina called Friendswood home for over 30 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; she will be remembered for her kind soul.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Marjori Watts (Peck); father, Thomas John Mckenna; husband, Raymond Lee Runnels; and daughter, Shelly Claire Runnels.
She is survived by her sons, Mark Hearne Runnels, Eric William Runnels and Bruce Stevenson Runnels; and granddaughter, Amanda Lynn Runnels.
The memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 311 N. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546 with Rev. Paul R. Beedle officiating.
In lieu of usual remembrances donations may be made in Gina's name to the Houston SPCA, Houston SPCA, 900 Portway Drive, Houston, Texas 77024, http://www.houstonspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=donate_main.
Condolences may be sent to the Runnels family in care of Jeter Memorial Funeral Home at www.jeterfuneralhome.com.
