Dr. Karl Edward Hormann III of Seabrook passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at his home at the age of 59 years.
Karl was born in Dallas and was raised in the Clear Lake area. He lived in Seabrook and attended the University Of Houston College Of Optometry and graduated in 1984. Karl owned and operated See-N-Focus optical for 30 years. He loved his family, music, movies, and connecting with people through laughter and spirituality.
He was kind, generous, joyful, passionate, and silly. He made everyone he came in contact with feel loved. In his free time he enjoyed traveling, fishing, sailing, painting, and making people laugh. Karl's biggest passion was spending time with his family.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, employees, and patients. He was preceded in death by his father Karl Edward Hormann Jr. and his uncle Gene Sarazen. Left to cherish Karl's memory are his wife Becky Hormann, children Alexander and Rachel Hormann, mother Barbara Miller, and sister Karen Hormann.
Please consider making a donation in Karl's memory to Doctors Without Borders.

Sending our condolences to the Hormann Family. I worked with Dr Hormann at Royal Optical over 33 years ago, he and Becky were newlyweds. This just saddens me to hear of his passing. May God Bless his family and keep them in his ever Loving care. Amen
