Two young adults, Emily and "Max", who were 2007 and 2008 graduates of Kingwood High School were instantly killed in a tragic head-on collision April 14, 2013. Emily and Max were together and inseparable for 2 years, their love and lives were enviable.
They had just purchased their first home 5 weeks ago to start their life together. They were planning marriage and children. They were both working full time and taking college courses to advance their careers. They both enjoyed dressing up for the Texas Renaissance Festival. They were so happy and in love but their bright and promising future together ended Sunday morning, April 14. They were only 23.
Visitation will be held Friday evening April 19th from 6-8 p.m. at Darst Funeral Home 796 Russell Palmer Road Kingwood, Texas 77339.
There will be a public funeral service for both of them on Saturday April 20, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Kingwood First Baptist Church 3500 Woodland Hills Drive, Kingwood, Texas 77339.

My little brother was inspirational. His gf Emily was such a sweetheart. They were a perfect complement to each other. The world will never be the same and a little darker without their shining personalities in it. I will try my best to live in the moment like they did. I'm going to miss everything about them. Stay Golden...

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family at this most difficult time. Please be assured that God will help you cope with the heavy weight of your loss for Psalms 68:19 says: “Blessed be Almighty God who daily carries the load for us.” As the days and weeks pass and as you return to life's routine, may God's comfort bring relief as you begin to recover gradually from the pain and may you also continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
