Ruth Ann Walsh (nee Snow) was born July 16, 1939 in Knoxville, Iowa. Upon graduation from Knoxville High she moved to Washington, DC and began working for the US Navy. After a few years, she returned to Iowa to raise her family and since has resided in Virginia, Florida and finally Texas. She was an avid Department 56 collector through which she made many dear and cherished friends. She was a spectacular mom and awesome "gma". Ruth leaves behind her loving husband, Michael, sister Mary, devoted children Mary and John, 3 stepchildren Bob, Chris and Mary, 7 grandkids and one great grandson. She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all. Viewing will take place at Crowder Funeral Home, March 30 at 6pm and funeral will be held at St. Mary's on March 31 at 10am in League City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

I have known Ruth for 5 years, I work at a Dr. office that she visited frequently. She was such a kind, loving person and a joy for me to take care of. There was a time she had recently had surgery & she went out of her way to buy a gift for my newborn son, even though she was having her own health issues - she was very selfless that way. To Mike, her children, grand kids and great grandkids please know that Ruth loved you all so much. I heard SO many wonderful things about you guys over the years and enjoyed the stories and the time I spent with her very much. You all and the puppies were the loves of her life! I am truly devastated that I won't see her smiling face anymore at work but I am glad to know she isn't suffering. I have faith she and Carol are reunited once again.
I am so saddened for the loss of such an amazing woman God bless her family and friends.

Ruth was my neighbor for five years. One of the hardest things about moving was not being next to Ruth. She was very dear to me and I loved her so much. You couldn't ask for better neighbors. My heart goes out to Mike and the family. God Bless you all

Dearest Mike, and Family, I am deeply sorry to hear the news on Ruth. I know and understand the severe loss it leaves in your life. We never are truly prepared. Ruth Was the upmost loved by all Lady. Joyous, Kind, Loving and the funniest to go thru our shared times together. I will never forget out times we had shared in Hawaii, and Alaska Cruises with our fellow Club members. You both gave joy to all of our Lives.
I know She is in God's hands, and watching us from heaven above. Mike you are certainly in my prayers along with the rest of the family during this time. Love and Respecfully , Judy Dryden
