On August 16, 2021 William "Bill" Monroe Bates II passed away peacefully at the age of 75 years. Bill was born December 23, 1945, and lived his life as a hard worker and dedicated family man.
Bill is survived by Darleen Bates, sons William Monroe Bates III and wife Ursula of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Wesley Bates and wife Abigail of Hurst, Texas; Clinton Bates and wife Kristen of The Woodlands, Texas; daughter Holly Fronczak and husband Larry of Marlton, New Jersey; granddaughters Carly and Keira Fronczak, and Jonetta Bates; grandsons Shawn, Wyatt and Dylan Bates. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Marian Bates and his sister Julie Laudenback.
Bill is a veteran of the United States Navy serving as a flight crewman on the supercarrier U.S.S Forrestal. He raised his family in Willis, Texas while spending more than 30 years running his own HVAC business before working as a Project Manager for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice until his retirement in 2012.
