Ardelle was a lifelong member of St. John The Evangelist (St. Jude Thaddeus Parish) Catholic Church. She was a member of the Altar Society and sang in the choir for a time. She was a superb homemaker, cook, gardener, baker, and she especially adored feeding and watching birds, notably hummingbirds, wrens, and cardinals. She enjoyed coloring and slot machine games on her cell phone. She was also a wonderful homemaker, did several crafts, and was a budget master. She will be greatly missed. Morris, 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 4 nieces, 1 nephew, several great nieces and nephews, 2 brothers in law and 2 sisters in law. She was preceded in death by her husband, her brother, Darryl (Lewis) Collins, her parents and adoptive grandparents, uncles (brothers) Donald Vink and Virgil (Eileen) Vink, aunt (dear sister) Harriette (Robert) Scott, her dear parents in law, Leonard and Lucille (Loree) Patrick, and several very special friends, especially Nancy McCartney. The Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Trahan Funeral Chapel, with Fr. Dale Orlik presiding. A private Rite of Committal and entombment will be at St. Patrick's Mausoleum. Visiting with the family will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel on Saturday.
