I first met Gayle when he joined the sales department working under Chuck Anthony at WXOX in 1964 and over the years, always admired his broadcast and people skills, ultimately becoming the manager of the area's top FM station, WGER-WNEM. A great friend, and somebody always putting Dee and his family first...may his memory be a blessing and provide comfort to those who recall his extraordinary life of success and being a bright spot in everybody's life.

Uncle Gale was always a cheerful presence at every family get together. I learned to play golf with him and my dad starting when I was very young. His passion for the game, and life, were always evident. He was a great example of how a man should live his life.

Gale and I were friends and co workers for over 20 years in radio. When I started my own company I bought my building (next to the Bay County Building ) from Gale and later the Bay Med Redi Med building on Center. I'm so glad I visited him in the hospital a few weeks ago. He was a good human being....
