FREDERICA - Annette Susan McClain passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at home.
Annette was born May 2, 1962 in Milford, Delaware to the late Rodney Lee MacDougall, Sr. and Nettie Virginia Reed MacDougall.
She was raised in Little Haven and graduated from Lake Forest High School. Annette was under the caretakers of Connections for a big part of her life and enjoyed their weekly visits. She also enjoyed childcare.
Annette is survived by her husband of 39 years, Hamish Lord MacBeth of Frederica; brothers, Rodney Lee MacDougall, Jr. and his wife Diane of Dover and Martin Lee MacDougall of Frederica; sisters, Kathleen S. Rowley and her husband Robert of Felton and Sandy King and her husband Ron of Cheswold.
Funeral services will be held 11AM, Monday, February 13, 2023 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (RT.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be at Barratts Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I know families grow apart for many reasons such as starting their own families, and moving, ect. However that doesn't mean we love each other any less. Nettie was always on my mind and in my heart just as all of the remaining family members. She will be deeply missed by all family , and friends. I pray God's love will keep you thru this difficult time.
