Darrell E. Rennewanz, 88
DOVER - Darrell E. Rennewanz was born April 3, 1933 in Detroit Lakes, Minn., the first of four children, he is the son of the late Albert and Maryann Rennewanz. He passed away on March 16, 2022 in Hartly, Del.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard, after which he worked as a building designer. He was married June 29, 1958, to Sarah Arner, and made their first home in Bridgeville, Delaware. He has lived in the Hartly area since 1972, and was a member of the Dover First Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
He is survived by his son, Vernon; grandson, Timothy; granddaughter, Norah; his brother, Darwin and his wife Kay, of Kodiak, Alaska; his sister, Koreen and her husband Barry Boetcher, of Stevens Point Wis; extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at the Dover First Day Adventist Church, 647 Wyoming Ave., Dover, DE 19904. Where friends may call after 10 a.m. Burial with honors at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, Del.
