Ernest Hosse Obituary
GEORGETOWN, DE - Ernest H. Hosse passed away at home after a brief illness on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
He is survived by his children, Colleen (John) Briggs, Andrew Hosse, Laura (Sean) King, Rosemary Hosse (Dan Stevens), and Joanna (Michael) Weaver; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many loving family and friends.
He was predeceased in death by Nelsa Hosse; and his daughter, Patrice Hosse.
Ernest was raised in Glen Burnie, MD, and moved to Georgetown in 1973, where he raised his six children. He was a CPA and real estate investor, actively involved in Rotary, meals on wheels, and Knights of Columbus.
He lived life to the fullest, loved to travel and spend time with his family, and will be sorely missed by all.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, DE on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 where friends may call at noon. Interment at Union Cemetery immediately thereafter.
Flowers are accepted or contributions in his memory may be sent to Compassionate Care Hospice.
