DOVER - Jailyn Nicole Ramos passed away suddenly on May 22, 2021 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
Jailyn was currently in the 8th grade at W. T. Chipman Middle School, where she played the flute and drums in the school band. Like every teenager, Jailyn liked being on her cell phone, especially with her cousin, Facetiming and making Tik Tok videos. Jailyn loved dancing anywhere she went, always making others smile and laugh. Jailyn was the type that could light up a room. She was smart, loving, caring and always joking around.
Jailyn is survived by her mother, Kimberly Knotts of Dover; her father, Clint Ramos of Dover; three siblings, Kenny T. Collins of Felton, Javier Ramos of Dover and Mason Robinson of Dover; her maternal grandmother, Peggy Knotts of Harrington; her paternal grandmother, Eva Ramos of Dover; her paternal great grandmother, Maria Burgos of Puerto Rico; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Jailyn was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ronald Knotts; and her paternal grandfather, Sammy Ramos.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Wyoming United Methodist Church, 216 Wyoming Mill Road, Wyoming, Delaware 19904 where friends may visit with family from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
