Katie Watson Obituary

Katie T. Watson, 88
On September 18, 2023, Katie T. Watson, peacefully passed away at her residence.
Kay was born on December 3, 1934 in Laurel, DE.
She grew up in Milford and graduated Milford High School in 1952. Kay then received her nursing degree from Milford Memorial Hospital and worked as a Registered Nurse in Pediatrics there before working for Dr. Luis David in his office.
Kay enjoyed her yearly travels to the outer banks, her monthly lunch meetings with her retired nurse friends, and traveling and antiquing with her late husband.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn M. Watson, Sr.; her sister, Hannah McCune; and siblings, Wilbur Simpson, Virginia Kennedy, and Frances Burn; and her son in law, Kurt Hutson.
Kay is survived by her children, Glenn M. Watson, Jr. and his wife Donna, Glenda K. Pusey and her husband Mike, and Sandra Hutson; her grandchildren, Jordan Watson and his wife Allison, Joseph Watson and his wife Amanda, Jamie Watson, Kevin Coblentz and his wife Myrika, Thomas Hutson and his fiancé Scarlett, Katie Burris and her husband Brian, Don Hutson and his wife Sarah, and Taylor Petty and her husband Ben; and 14 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Delaware Veterans Cemetery in Millsboro on Wednesday 9/27 at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers donations in her name made be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
