SALISBURY - Emilia Kondziola died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at Salisbury Nursing Home.
She worked for many years at Manhattan Shirt Factory and at Phillips Crab House. She and her husband they raised chickens for Perdue Farms. She attended St. Francis de Sales and Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Whaleyville, where she enjoyed singing.
She is survived by four children, Leo Kondziola, Irene Ann Rains, Ola Meadowcroft and Myron Kondziola; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; adopted daughters Gayle Miller and Lynda Hylton- Hennessey; 13 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Kondziola, in 2004.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Wicomico Memorial Park. Arrangements are in the care of Bounds Funderal Home in Salisbury.

Ola, , i am so sorry to hear of your loss. . I remember you and your mother so well from wi hi . she came in and taught us to do different dishes and i think the cabbage rolls was one of them. Then later when i was married to Jim they used to bring pigs i guess it was to the butcher shop and i remember one day i was cooking chili and i told her what is twas and offered he some and she ate a bowl and loved it and i gave her a chili packe t mix and it was fun to remmeber she taught me my first cabbage rolls and i taught her her first chile. Both your parents were wonderful people from my memories and my late husband Jim
Shuler thought so highly of them . actually you were the executive when we got zoning for the shop. . but she was one of my first memories o the parents of the children I taught and a wonderful memory . She has a life well lived for sure . Virginia Shuler
