Anna M. Mason, 93, of Princeton, formerly of Buda and Neponset, died Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Manor Court-Liberty Village in Princeton. Anna was born June 19, 1929, the daughter of Edward M. and Harriet Anna (Morris) Miller in Indiantown Township, Bureau County, Illinois. Anna married Owen Mason on November 6, 1948, in Princeton; he preceded her in death on October 24, 2014.
Anna was a homemaker, worked at Harper-Wyman and both Wal-Mart locations in Princeton. She is survived by a son, Ron Mason, of Granville and a daughter, Fran Peterson of Princeton; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Allan; two brothers, Lawrence (Grace) Miller, Joseph (Alberta) Miller; and one sister, Doris (Darvin) Brown.
Cremation rights were accorded. There will be no public services. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Hopeland Cemetery, rural Buda. Please leave an online condolence for Anna's family at www.golnickschuenemanfh.com.
