Died: January 25, 2024 in Princeton, Illinois
Nancy Ann Bickett, 80, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, in her home, with her family by her side.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2024, in the St. Louis Catholic Church, Princeton, with Msgr. James Kruse officiating. Private interment will be held in Maytown. Her family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. Thursday in The Chapel of The Fiocchi-Jensen Funeral Home, Princeton, with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. Private online condolences may be left for her family at www.FiocchiFuneralHomes.com
Nancy was born on August 6, 1943, in Amboy, to John Lester and Lorraine G. (Lathrope) Bulfer. She married Michael James Bickett on December 2, 1961, in St. Patrick Church, Maytown. She was the former Outreach Director at the Bureau County Senior Citizens Association.
She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Princeton, and a member of the St. Patrick Church, Arlington, Altar and Rosary Society and taught CCD for elementary school children. She served on the Bureau County Senior Center Board. She was founder of the Outreach and Transportation programs in the 1980's.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth (Floyd) Robison of Morgantown, Indiana, Brenda Bickett of Glen Ellyn, and Kent Bickett of Princeton; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded by: her parents; her husband, Mike, in 2019; and 2 sons in infancy, Dennis, 1965, and Douglas, 1967
Memorials may be directed to Rush University Medical Center Pancreatic Cancer Research where she is a participant in the Rush University Medical Center Pancreatic Cancer Research

Nancy, you were the best friend anyone could have. We've had many laughs and good memories since we were in First grade at Maytown and all through the years since. Our deepest condolences and prayers for your family. She loved all of you very much. RIP dear friend until we met again.

I am so sorry for your loss.
I was a classmate of Nancy´s at Amboy Highschool. I remember Nancy as being a very sweet person. She was always kind to everyone. I have no doubt that kindness was her signature through her life. God Bless Nancy and God Bless her family.
