Patricia E Rosenow, 85 of Wyanet passed away peacefully July 8, 2025 at Goldwater Nursing Home in Princeton. She was born on January 21, 1940 in Kewanee to Lawrence and Lucille (Bumphrey) Foltz.
She married Dale E Rosenow Jr on November 6, 1954 in Kewanee. He preceded her in death on October 14, 1987.
Surviving are four daughters, Brenda O'Dell of Tiskilwa, Pam (Joe Davis) Ziegler of Lacon, Vicki (David) Zanders of Pleasant Hill, IA, and Heather Bowen of Annawan; four sons, Phil (Teresa) Rosenow, Terry Rosenow, Don Rosenow, and Jeff Rosenow, all of Princeton; two sisters, Loretta Brown of Dixon and Sherry Kay Vaughn of Sandoval; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and extended family, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and so many more.
Our mother loved and accepted everyone, whether you are still in the family or not. Once in and that was it, you were family. And she passed that onto her children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Shawna; two sisters, Judith Housh and Janice Hanson; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held August 2nd at the United Methodist Church in Sheffield. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m., with services at 11 a.m., followed by a family service at Hopeland Cemetery, Buda.
A luncheon will be held after the service in the basement of the church.
We would also like to give a very special thank you to the staff at Goldwater Nursing Home, you loved Mom and took such good care of her. As well as the OSF Hospice, you helped make this sad and hard situation bearable.
The Rosenows appreciate all of your care, love and tears for our mother.
