Died: September 10, 2021
Peter B. Bomleny, 52, went home to be with the Lord Jesus on Friday September 10, 2021 at 11:24 p.m. at OSF St. Clare, Princeton.
Pete drove trucks for his entire adult life. He was a very dedicated, hard worker and always gave 100% no matter the task. He loved the Lord and spent time sharing his knowledge to all who would listen. Pete was one of a kind and selfless. He gave his spare time to his family. He always put them first. He is sorely missed.
Services will be held 6 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of the Fiocchi-Jensen Funeral Home, Princeton, with Rev. David Ross of the Tiskilwa Bible Church officiating. Peter's family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of services Thursday at the Funeral Home. In keeping with state mandates face coverings are required.
He is survived by his wife, Candi Bomleny of Princeton, 2 daughters, Jenny (Jose) Chagala of Hooppole, Sarah (Brandon) Clark of Sterling, 1 son, James (Gina) Spegon of Joliet, his brother, John (Laura) Spies of Hillsboro, Oregon, his sisters, Mary Schmitt of Hemet, California, and Kathy Spies of Dayton, Ohio, his cousin, Jerry (JoAnn) Bomleny, 9 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and cousins, and his two dogs, Hercules and Bongo and 2 cats, Bob and Betty.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Peter and Daisy Bomleny, his maternal grandparents, Nicholas and Pearl Kraus, his parents, Joseph and Dorothy Bomleny, his son, Matthew Bence and twin brother, Paul Bomleny.
